Today is day 18 of my "on track" streak!
I am challenging myself to make as much progress as possible by New Years Day. I am not focusing on weight. For me, this challenge is about making each day as healthy as I possibly can, by eating right and exercising. Yes I know that some days might not be as good as others. But as long as I don't give up, I will succeed!
This morning when I woke up, I had a moment when I was tempted to just sleep in a little longer instead of going into the living room to do my workout. But then I asked myself..."Would you rather go back to sleep and dream of success? Or would you rather go workout and help make that dream come true?" I think I saw a saying like that on a motivational poster once! I'm glad it stuck with me, because it helped me get out of bed, get dressed and go workout!
Oh sure, I could have gone back to sleep for a while, and then done my workout later in the day. But I know myself! If I procrastinate on something, I often end up putting it off until the 12th of NEVER! And after all, I am calling this month MOVE-ember, so that means I can't miss a workout. No excuses!
(NOTE: There is a big difference between a valid reason and a flimsy excuse.)
As of today, November 2, there are 59 days until New Years day, and I'm so excited to see how much progress I can make if I work hard every day. I'm very blessed to have a dedicated Spark team of friends who are joining me in trying to make as much progress as we can by New Years Day. We are not going to just dream of success....together, we are going to work hard to make that dream a reality!
