Less Internet:
Hey everyone! It's been a while since I posted anything on SparkPeople, that's because I made a commitment to ONLY go online if I need to check my email/bank account or if I really needed to look something up.

I feel like I've completely changed myself for the better. I went from playing games all the time, not exercising, feeling stuck and having a quarter life crisis . And now I'm at peace with myself, making the most out of each day without the games and internet wasting my life away.

Going Vegan:
I've finally decided to go vegan. Iv'e been Pesco Pollo Vegetarian for a long long time. naturally over the years I started eating less and less meat (chicken, fish) because they didn't taste as good anymore (and because how messed up our very cruel farming system is now). A week ago I really TRIED to eat chicken but hated the taste. I felt like I was a little girl, being forced to eat broccoli or something lol. This may sound weird to you, but I felt like that was a sign my body was trying to tell me that "I'm ready".

The only reason I didn't go vegan before was the whole protein thing. People would say to me, "you cant get enough protein on a vegan diet!" - which so soooo false! right now for breakfast I'm eating 16g of protein which is coming from quinoa and black beans. I can add some marinated tofu to get even more protein if I desire. A woman's body really only needs 50g of protein, I'm already almost half way there and I've only ate breakfast.

Bakery Job:
Aside from all that, I got a new job. It's at a bakery in Albertsons. No, i'm not tempted whats so ever to eat their sweets. trust me, it's gross and highly processed! I don't know how anyone can eat anything from there. Everything is already pre packaged/ pre cooked, even the cake and bread! yes, it may say "freshly baked!" - but the reality is, it came in frozen. All we had to do is un thaw it and cook it. So basically everything we serve is like a TV Dinner.

I'll still be sparking a few times a week but it wont be an everyday thing anymore. If you have any questions about anything in this blog, just comment below!
