Hello everyone...

Been kind of down and out for a little while but things are starting to look up for me. Will be starting a new job on Monday for a company that manufactures insulin injectors and will be a Benefits Research Assistant. Very excited about this new opportunity.

Also, have joined a fitness/weight loss competition with my local YMCA called THE MELTDOWN. It's for 8 weeks and today was my first session with my trainer. I made it through but am very sore (a good sore). I have finished my first 5K on October 9th. I didn't run all of it but a run/walk and finished in relatively good time.

My goal is to start slow and work my way to at least 30 minutes of running without need for walking breaks. It will take some time but with practice I know I will do it.
