My DH was a great sport and let me paint him up like a cat. We wore the same outfits that we wore about 30 years ago when we were first going out. It was funny, I had a photo from then and was coping it and started giggling as it was almost easier to paint us up this times as we had natural lines to follow with the wrinkles on our faces. We surprised the kids with doing this. We went to Lyla's parade at school to surprise her when she first saw us she didn't recognize us but when she did she went up and hugged us and love it! I am so glad we went to the effort. I forgot how much time it takes to paint us up. But totally fun! And the treat or treaters loved it as well as we sat on the porch and handed out the candy. The kids in this neighborhood were so polite and nice and even thanked us for getting dressed up. What a treat.
I made it through without eating any candy. Just decided that I didn't need it and have been doing so well healthy wise sticking to what my doctors said to eat so didn't want to chance anything. It paid off not eating crap as I was 105 this morning which is fine as now I can really enjoy myself at lunch today. I am going out to eat with 2 of my favorite cousins.
Hope you all had a good Halloween.
Have a great day and don't let the candy monster get you!
