Challenge Met!! And A Bonus Picture!!

Friday, November 01, 2013

Well, I met the 100,000 Step Challenge, reaching that Number before 10:00 this morning -- Thanks to a Job where I can do a LOT of Walking Laps, LOL!!
I actually got a total of 17,924 steps today and ended the Challenge with 110,032 Steps, 110%!!

emoticon We don't usually get many Trick Or Treaters in our Neighborhood, so I seldom buy Candy, and I keep the Outside Lights off on Halloween Evening to deter any Stray Children who happen to come by.
Apparently my Oldest Son had a Party at a Friend's House. For the past couple of weeks he has been receiving pieces of his Costume via UPS. This evening he stopped at Our 7-11 and the Clerk took this Picture of him. I think some of you will recognize "WHO" he is, LOL!!

Just to the right in the picture (Geoff's Left) you can see the display where I buy my Bedtime Snack when we walk to 7-11 every evening. They have the B-E-S-T Pears in Town, and the Bananas are pretty good, usually. Not crazy about their Apples, though.

emoticon Hope everyone did well with the October Challenge and I am looking forward to an Even Better November!!

HI, thanks for the comment on my blog the other day! Yeah, I usually don't eat Chinese because of the calories and MSG factor, the headaches I get are a nightmare indeed. I could have just had brown rice and the eggroll and been fine but I wasn't really thinking properly and had orange chicken and blew everything to pot lol.

Halloween isn't my thing but your son looked good. Until someone else mentioned it I didn't know who he was. My first guess was Clint Eastwood from his spaghetti western phase lol.

My steps for November aren't where I want them to be yet but I am doing much better than I did in September and October. This first year in a new city is a little rough on my allergies but its way better now so I can get back to the exercise level I am used to getting in. Have a great weekend~ emoticon emoticon emoticon

    emoticon on the steps!
Your son looks great!
I look forward to Halloween every year, its my favorite event celebration. Quite enjoyable to see both adults and children dressing up and there were plenty of both at the Mall and later some at my Mom's. Not so many this year though as last. She has lots of chocolate bars and Wagon Wheels left over which my step dad will quickly dispense with..
I would prefer getting my fruit at a supermarket, much fresher that way. Never liked confectionery stuff. I used to work at both a 7-11 and a family owned one, and people don't go for the fresh, they want the junk and their smokes.
Have a good November, bet you will blow your first step total out of the water!

Hahahaha I LOVE Trick or Treat!!! It is SSOOOOO much fun to see the kids in their costumes and having such fun!! I also like to see the moms and dads who come along. In my opinion that is the way it should be done. I also love seeing the kids I have not seen since they went to the other school. Im not sure it is done the same at every house, but 9 times out of 10, when I open the door I get some version of "Trick or Treat!!!! HEY! Ms. Marr!!! Can I have a HUG??" I believe I give out almost as many hugs as I do candy bars!!!! emoticon

Good Job on the steps, ya little show off!!!

Nice Doctor, there, "who" else? I, too, hid from the kids last night, stopping at the gym for my swim lesson on the way home.
