So I've been to the gym a few times (even when traveling for business
) and back on the bike (boy I missed that
). My latest (mis)adventure is to run a 5K early next year (spring or early summer?) The thing is, I don't run. Never really have. Back in high school, when we ran in gym class, I managed to walk around the track instead. But, I can find a whole bunch of information on the internet. I actually found a couple of articles right here on SparkPeople.com that answered some burning questions. A few years ago, I actually started running a few times a week. I stopped when the shinsplints started. I now know that that could have been caused by my heel strike form. So, something new is coming along and I'm quite excited about it!
