Sore

Thursday, October 31, 2013

My whole body has been sore the past few days, but I'll take that as a good sign from my exercise. I've only been doing 5-10 minute bursts and thought it wasn't worth logging for fitness minutes, but I'm going to start because some days I get up to 40.

Today was our Halloween office party. I had a few slices of pizza and went over my calorie intake, but not by much. Looking forward to going home and just crawling into bed. Sometimes I regret not signing up for first shift.

I'll be putting my new coffee table together this weekend and revamping my blogs. Pretty excited. Had to send my new iPhone back to the manufacturer, though. It was my first and I was so excited, but that excitement got the better part of me and it fell, shattering the cover. The good news is that I have a warranty. I'll just be without it for a few days while it's repaired, which is fine by me. Sometimes it's nice to step away from technology.

It's amazing how those 10 minute bursts add up. When I first started trying to get myself to move more, I'd park at the outer edges of the mall and walk in or walk during TV ads and phone calls. It adds up very quickly. Now I exercise relarly and I know that burn.

Nothing like exercise soreness. And by all means, count those ten minute sessions. They really add up. Too bad about your iPhone but you were smart to get the warranty. My 4S was stolen from my desk during our office move last year. Pretty tragic!

Hope your weekend is wonderful and it doesn't take too long to put that coffee table together!!

Log it! It is so motivating. I often find I take that extra walk or do that yoga-routine just because I want to make my goal that week or month :)

I've only just started logging fitness like you I thought 5 or 10 minutes wasn't worth it. I find tracking fitness keeps me motivated. I really love getting the trophies too. I have to admit I am not keen on exercise, hope that changes. Since I gave up work I don't bother with my mobile much. It's just one less thing. emoticon

It's always worth logging the minutes, it's surprising how they add up. It also makes logging a habit. I'm impressed with your progress.
