No, wait - maybe even my MONTH!
Since my 4th and 6th block classes are in the same room on the 3rd floor, I usually do my lunch break (5th block) there - bringing my lunch, using the microwave if I have something heat-able, maybe accessing internet from the lab across the hall. But yesterday my Union rep sent me an email that she needed to see me, so I went to the basement to the staff cafeteria. My fellow Teacher Assistants were there, so it was nice to catch up a bit. One mentioned a former librarian from our school had retired, and my rep turned to me and asked when I might retire. I said, "Probably when I'm 65." She asked, with all seriousness, "Is that in, what, 20 years?"
I was delightfully surprised at her question and turned to another coworker and said, "I LOVE this woman!"
(I turned SIXTY this year!)
1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
SO THAT YOUR YOUTH IS RENEWED LIKE THE EAGLE'S.
