FOUND: One workout buddy!

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

So, something out of the blue happened to me yesterday. My administrative assistant asked me if I liked going to the gym at work. I told her all about how I manage the time(she already knows this, as she is my admin) and what kinds of good stuff they have over there.
She said..."If I join, can we work out together?"

One thing I have been missing on the journey is a buddy. I find that when I am accountable to someone else I'm much more responsible. I don't know why I can't do that for myself...but I will do it for someone else.

So today she arranged my schedule so we can go together this afternoon. I'm super stoked. I NEVER have had anyone to go to the gym with...except for my husband(who is also amazing). It truly will be nice to have the company and accountability and then I won't feel like I'm the only passenger on the train to a better future.

Good vibes, positive journey, a new me around the corner.

So happy for you! I had a buddy to go to the gym with 8 years ago, back in New Zealand. That's the only time I never missed any classes because "I was too tired" does make a big difference...good for you!!
