Today I had my usual breakfast of toast with 1 Tablespoon of peanutbutter and slice bananas for a whopping 265 calories. It usually fills me up until lunch.
So then I went to the cafeteria and they didn't have anything that really struck me until I saw the country chicken salad with fruit. Now, chicken salad may not be the healthiest choice since it has sour cream or mayo in it, but compared to the pizza, chicken tenders and mashed potatoes that are normal staples that they offer, I decided to try it.
Well it was delicious.
And definitely enough for me to eat for lunch. Especially since I had some reduced fat kettle chips for my side. But part of me wanted more. Something sweet. And so I took my dollar down to the vending machine, planning on getting the oats and chocolate Fiber One bar for 140 calories. 140 calories I had remaining, but probably didn't need all the same.
Well, I stuck that dollar in that machine 5 times. And it spit it back out 5 times.
Well played, vending machine. Well played.
