I have a love/hate relationship with the gym. Hate going there. Hate getting started. Hate the exercise. Love seeing my gym friends. Love getting finished and feeling good about myself.

I rarely get past walking and that is only because the dogs nag me till I get dressed and go.

Depends on the type of exercise for me. Water aerobics are okay and hiking is my favorite. But some others I just can't get into. Videos never hold my attention and I can't get motivated to do them at all.

You are always such a joyous bundle of information! This article just goes to show that my philosophy of exercise in moderation (30 - 60 minutes per day) is just right for me.

    Great article. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree, some of my better workouts came when I was thisclose to falling aslep on the couch on a Saturday afternoon when I forced myself to get up and just do an easy 10 minutes on the elliptical or an easy short spark video.

Most times, I ended up staying with it for 30 minutes.

Some days I didn't push myself off the couch. I have to keep reminding myself that I can do it!

Thanks for the inspiration!

I feel better when I do it but I'm not thrilled with it either. I'm not sure how you get thrilled with it - maybe these people are adrenalin junkies. I never was and the last few years my body has screamed, "Just let me lay down!"
