Ok, as you know from my last confusing blog, my numbers I woke up to were HIGH, 140. Ok, remember, I am monitor mode, no meds or shots, etc. I made sure to eat a very small low glycemic breakfast Chia Goodness with unsweetened vanilla hemp milk. Ok, this brought my sugars up to 150. This is good because I am to be 150 or less after two hours of eating and I was exactly 150 and my meal was low enough that it only took me up 10 points. I had water, did a light bike ride, some walking, nothing to really brag about, 2,723 steps. We went over and had home made tomato basil soup and is not milk base. It is the best we ever had. My husband does not like nor eat tomato soup and he loves this. He bought two large soups to go and took home. I ate two small soups, basically 2 cups of it plus chicken with lettuce and tomatoes. Well, I did my numbers and was very pleased to see 107. This is really good!
Ok, I had a small amount 1/2 cup serving of low carb ice cream with 1 tsp peanut butter for my dessert and before 8 and can't eat anything more until morning. I want to see where my numbers will be by morning. If my suspicions are right, I will be low like I should be.
