I lost 32 lbs and went from size ten to size 6. I need to lose another 18 lbs, but I seem to be stuck, although I've been practicing maintenance. I'm very small boned, so I don't look overweight, but I really do need to lose 18 lbs. I seem to be stuck, and I gain and lose a few lbs. I'm thinking that I need to start a new ticker and review everything I've done before when I started last December. Have any of you done that when you got closer to goal?
Do you think starting with a new Ticker could help?
I'm trying to be more careful about weighing and measuring food. Now that summer is over, and I no longer have as many wonderful fruits and vegetables, I'm having cravings for casseroles and chocolate. I didn't have that for the first 9 months of the year, so I must be doing something different. I know that when I increase my protein intake, that helps, but I don't really like meat.
I determined from the beginning that I would stay with Sparkpeople and the nutrition tracker daily for at least 2 years, and now I believe I will do it for at least 2 to 3 years past my goal. I really like using Sparkpeople, so it's not a difficult to do.
