Like I mentioned yesterday, I joined the Official Eat Up to Slim Down Challenge. One of the articles I read today, mentioned finding the sweet spot in your calorie range where you lose weight and are satisfied.
I've generally been satisfied with what I've been eating. And I've certainly been happy with the amount of weight I've lost. Then there is today.
I did water aerobics today, but remembered to take a snack because I knew it would be after 12:00 noon before I got home. I also remembered to take water and to refill my bottle. Then instead of reading while waiting for my appointment, I took a 20 minute walk.
Came home ate a different lunch which was delicious but I stopped before making the apple and cottage cheese (I'm weird, I look on that as a delicious treat) I was having to bump up the protein because there wasn't much in my bowl of pumpkin soup. I got busy doing stuff around the house and never ate it. Which meant I was hungry for supper earlier. No problem. I had my planned meal and then had the apple and cottage cheese. Was afraid I'd still be hungry but am satisfied. I've managed to get in all 9000 steps which has been harder the days I do water aerobics.
And I'm ready for bed. I got things done in the house, got my exercise, ate within my calorie range and have spent some quality time on SP. So I'm going to take my Kindle with my new book and give myself some me time before I go to sleep.
Have no idea if I've hit the sweet spot in my calorie range, but I hit the sweet spot on balancing the things I needed to do and the things I wanted to do today. Now if I can just remember how I did it.
