Day #6 and I'm feelin'...pretty good actually.

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

I'm settling in and getting my head around what I need to do to really lose this extra pudge. Well, hopefully....this might just be the eternal 2 pounds that comes and goes.

I am tracking religiously, even down to the tsps of sugar that go into my tea. I am making good choices - I even bought Pink Lady apples today and am having one for dessert right now - and I am moving more.

Been getting out the cookbooks lately to shake up the dinner routine. Major flop this week was meatball stroganoff. Just no. ;) My husband is a meat, potatoes, veggies or salad fan so it's easy to get in a rut. The only good thing about him being away on the fires is I can make some odd things he might not like. Last night the son and I had chicken stir-fry with jasmine rice. Yum! Husband likes stirfries, but he doesn't care for ginger and I love to load it into dishes like that. :) And tomorrow night we'll have hamburger soup.

So I am cautiously optimistic. I know I'm working on health, and that's the most important thing.

If your ultimate goal is health and fitness and weight management you will find your way. If your goal is a number, a size, a silhouette, you may end up being disappointed. Only because all of those things are superficial and transient. You are much better than that.
