I woke up early this morning to weigh in, and see if I was 198. I was 200.2 I went on my 45 minute walk, and then ate breakfast, Sparked, washed the dishes, Sparked, vacuumed the house, Sparked more, then threw out the trash, and walked down to mail my car payment, then Sparked some more.
I cooked up lunch, and weighed in again. 199.6
. I am going in the wrong direction! I was going to wait to change my weight, but this is 2 days at 199, so I think I can count it, and in a few days I will move away from 200, in the right direction.
my meals for today are:
B - 4 XL eggs, 2 Tbsp. salted butter
L - 3 chicken thighs, 1/2 can peas, 1/2 can tomatoes, 2 Tbsp. olive oil
D - 2 chicken thighs, 1/2 can tomatoes, 1 Tbsp olive oil.
My lunch was 824 calories, but I was pretty busy, and putting more oil in with the extra veggies seemed to hide the taste. All I have with Dinner is tomatoes, and a lot of oil makes it greasy.
This comes to 1,976 calories:
fat = 135 grams... 62.4%
carbs = 38 grams... 7.9%
protein = 144 grams... 29.7 %
I seem to be using the larger packages of chicken, to up my calories. The dishes seem small, and I just feel like eating more. I will probably have to divide a package to make 7 smaller chicken thighs this week,since that is what I have left, instead of 6. Some of the packages are 1.1 lbs, instead of 1.3 lbs.
According to common wisdom, if I am losing a lb a week, to stop that, I would have to eat another 500 calories a day, or 2500. If I need that to maintain at 164 lbs,, how much was I actually eating to maintain 361 lbs. ? Makes you think.. 5000? I can't imagine eating 2500 calories for the rest of my life on low carb, but obviously ate twice that in high carb with no problem, and still felt hungry. Maybe I will be able to avoid dropping below 164 at 2250 or so. My metabolism could slow down as I near goal weight, right?
I plan on taking a nap soon, or read my next Clive Cussler mystery. My brother is back to school for 8 hours today, and I forgot how boring it is here, since he has been home for 2 weeks. He gets home at 4, and I need to go buy 15 lbs of chicken thighs for the week, at the Amish store. Then I am waiting for Biggest Lower to start at 8, and then the Voice. I also got to cook some Dinner, but the rest of the day should be pretty laid back.
