Finally got all the meds straightened out!

Tuesday, October 29, 2013

Geez, have been going back and forth with my doctors in Mexico and the Canadian Pharmacy that is on line and finally got everything I need to stay until December 7th. So we will be here for Thanksgiving. When we told the grandchildren they cheered. Really cute. It will be funny for me not to have to cook a big turkey, which I usually do in Mexico and have all the neighbors over. In Mexico turkey isn't cheep either and you have to order a month in advance. I think last year the turkey was like $75 for 23 pounds. My step-son is a great cook and has already said he makes an awesome turkey so I am excited to not have to do all the cooking. Woo hoo!

So far so good with my health and staying away from all the foods I am not supposed to have. Weight this morning was a surprising doing great!

Hope you all have a great day.

Sallie, I'm so glad to see you will be staying for Thanksgiving!! Wonderful! Fantastic that all the meds are set. Hmmm and now: do you have your cold-weather clothes handy? Gets pretty chilly before Pearl Harbor Day.

Will you be taking the grandkids around or staying at home to hand out treats to the other kids? I can easily imagine you wanting to do both!

So happy for you that everything got sorted out and you can celebrate Thanksgiving with the family.
I hear you on turkey being expensive and sometimes unavailable in Mexico. I have used a chicken instead.. not quite the same but close.
