My first video blog!

I have a cold so I've been stuck home with not much to do, and I decided to record a short video message for you! I'm sick and my hair is a mess but nevermind :) I got really, really nervous while in front of the camera because I rarely speak English in my day-to-day life (I mostly use it to write) but it was good practice and I think I did pretty well.

Anyway, enjoy!

    OMG! That was amazing! ! !

Years ago, like 47 years ago, I took language classes in German and Spanish, but with no way to practice what I learned it was all quickly forgotten. It is a very difficult task for our brains to think one language and then translate it to another language. Many people can understand a spoken word or read it, but for one to speak it is so much harder. Your English is fantastic!

    Your english was great I like that your maintaining your weight. They say if you maintain for awhile an learn how to do that then you will be more likely to keep it off emoticon emoticon

    Very nice video blog. Your English was very good, maybe better than mine, and I've spoken it all of my life! Maintaining is no simple task, especially for a person who has been an emotional eater, so I say Bravo! and well done.

I also enjoyed your nervousness, it was cute to watch your eyes as you tried to avoid making too much eye contact with the camera :)

    awesome! i wish i had enough nerve to do a vlog! I'm in the same boat as far as maintaining, which your right is an accomplishment in itself, but of course also want to see the scale moving again!I also struggle with emotional eating & live that you are all about getting back on the good tracking again. Keep at it girlie, you've got this.

    emoticon I did that! maintained a weight loss of 25 pounds 210-185 for a year (2012) before feeling like taking a step further in February 2013 to shrink another 25 pounds. I am proud of you holding your weight steady, because when you get that tug to change it - you really DO! Good for You! excellent! emoticon

    Ahhh! :-D Awesome! You've such a sweet manner about you, and you did an amazing job with your English! I loved this, even your nervousness - so adorable. :-D I'm really proud of you, for fighting to maintain your weight despite the emotional stuff you're sorting through. Emotional eating feels like such an escape in the moment, and escaping the pressure of our emotions is pretty much all we want to do when we feel the weight of it crushing down on us. You've the strength to hold it up though, you do, and it really warms my heart to hear you taking it one step at a time. You can do this, we're all here for you, as much as we can be of course.
