Monday muddles

Monday, October 28, 2013

Tired, tired tired. It's been a very emotional, frustrating several days.

I'm still in Facebook "jail." I think I know what happened. I post on a lot of political sites and, while I'm careful always to be respectful, I suspect someone of the other side got ticked off and reported me. However, I've actually figured out a temporary way around it. Any item I want to comment on, I "share" it to my timeline. There's a space that says "write something." I put my comment in there. And if I want someone specific to see it, I "tag" them in the comment.

All of my beautiful new yarn arrived today. Lord, it's so soft. Now the dilemma -- socks, stole or circular shawl: which do I do first?

Half my department is out sick and month-end is Thursday. Call me Saturday morning. Or don't. I'll be crashed in my chair with my coffee and watching my "gentlemen."

I have not yet been banned from FB, however, I did get a couple of messages saying that I put comments on that were not appropriate. I also do not have any idea who complained about anything I put on my page.

I hope you have a relaxing Saturday. But I know it is tough to wait that long when you are stuck at work filling in for sick co-workers.

The yarn sounds lovely. Are some of the things for you? At least this weekend we do the fall back. I love an extra hour of sleep, but not wild about how dark it will be.

Just work around the 'Facebook Jail' as you have been. emoticon

As for the yarn, just pick out one thing and start it. That's what I do. I've had some neat things come of it. emoticon

    Enjoy emoticon

Glad you found a work-around for Facebook, although it is annoying to be singled out for having opinions. I've noticed that the people who talk loudest about tolerance and acceptance are often the first to cry foul if your opinion happens to differ from theirs.

As for the knitting projects, which one would give you most pleasure to have completed? Alternately, which would make up fastest to give you a sense of accomplishment? They all sound wonderful

Sorry you're still in Facebook jail. Some people, just can't accept different views.

Sounds like you're ready to do some projects, enjoy it.

I can't comment on the Facebook "Jail time" because I am not informed about what the rules are on Facebook. I will comment on how happy I am that you have received your new yarn. You could always "eenie, meenie, mynie, mo" to decide which article to knit first...LOL. They ALL sound beautiful, and I know you will love them all.
