I credit my energy this morning with that extra cup of french press coffee. ;)
I think this is something like Day 4 of tracking and extra movement. Doing pretty well. The scale hasn't budged, but at least I'm being consistent.
Husband got called last night to do remote firefighting. Days like this I wish I was still on some sort of mood medication - I get really antsy when he's off on work like this. It's hard work too - they hike in carrying all their equipment, or are winched in by helicopter. It's fire-fighting without water. He's two-plus hours from his workplace and another 45 minutes home from there, so if he's late or they want them to work again tomorrow, he'll stay down there. I'm just fine with that - I'd rather he be safe in a motel rather than driving when he's absolutely exhausted.
We started looking at flights/fares for my trip in Feb. with my son. He hasn't seen either set of grandparents for going on 7 years. I spent a distracted morning printing out passport apps and Google maps of where we need to go in Sydney next Monday for photos and appearing in person to lodge the app. What fun! Then I trotted into town to get SASE from the post office, and to get some mulberries from behind the pharmacy for my lil' possums.
I think it's about time for another quick caffeine hit before I go pick up my kiddos - daughter is coming for a visit when she's off work.
I would NOT be a good fireman/policeman/active military wife. That's all I can say.
