These are tips that will suit all folks - although those who face dealing with diabetes might want to second think the suggestion for fruit snacking!


1) Never Skip Breakfast – doing this will help keep you from snacking on sugary or fatty foods mid-morning.

2) Plan Your Mealtimes & Shopping in Advance - so you don’t run out of essentials.

3) Snack on Fruit – light snacks between meals – ideally a piece of fruit or a portion of nuts.

4) Never let yourself get ravenously hungry.

5) The Golden Rule: Don’t Overeat – always leave the table with a feeling that you could have eaten just a little bit more!
