And that would be...MONDAY! Yep...we are under a windy advisory for 50-60 MPH winds (depending where you are in the Las Vegas Valley today). Along with that comes a Dust advisory. It was blowing so hard this morning, that when I stepped out of my car at Starbucks, I had to pause and grab the car door to stay up right. Plus they are calling for some rain today or tomorrow. I won't hold my breath for that though.
So this past weekend was just all the way around BAD! I wasn't feeling "right". Not really sick...just a general feeling of being physical "off". I didn't really watch what I ate and I didn't seem to have a whole lot of energy. Sat night, in fact, I was in bed by like 9 (and that's way early for me!) then slept until about 7:45 Sunday morning. We worked on the trailer all weekend, so I was somewhat active. Sat we did have breakfast and then stopped for Hawaiian when we went for parts for the trailer build. Left over chili was dinner. Sunday we had to make a parts run and ended up having In and Out for lunch (no breakfast though). But come dinner time I just wasn't hungry, so instead of our usual rib eye and baked tater, I made hubby corned beef and cabbage (Hawaiian style) for dinner. I had a bit of Egg Nog. Again I was in bed a bit early...9:45. Today I'm feeling much better. I have more energy.
As for the trailer...I can see progress now! We have all the tanks installed (3 fresh water, 2 gray water, and 1 black water). The gray and black tanks are all vented. The two grays are connected. The toilet is installed. We tested all of them using water. No leaks that we could spot.
This weekend we'll be getting the fresh water plumbed, the water heater in and the water pump done...I hope! We'll need to pressures test everything before we lay the floor boards back down. We have to have all of it done before we race Nov 11-17.
Plus all the food we need to get ready for being at the track that long and out Luau In The Pits party on Fri night (the 15th). So lots to do yet!
Caleb's football team lost Sat so no post season play for them. But he played well. Karry is doing Christmas Wish list for all of them on Amazon for me.
I got 60 mins in on the treadmill today and I'm planning on trying to start back to my night workdays. I think I need some extra Fit type workouts to kick start my weight loss again.
I'm going to endeavor to began a journey with a friend. She's been very supportive and I'm now on the second book she recommend I read before setting pen to paper. Plus I've got some apps to help me along.
Well..time to start thinking about heading out into the blustery day! Have a great start to your week everyone!
This was me this morning!
