I did it !! I'm now in the 84's !! Kgs that is !! I broke that scale from reading 85 something kgs over the past 3 weeks and this is the first time I have seen the number 84 in a long time! I am 84.9kgs..... Wow..... I'm so excited and inspired by this.
It is the morning of day 3 of the GM diet program and I have broken through that psychological barrier I believe I was holding onto about that number 85 on the scale. Now I can enjoy the remaining 4 days of the GM diet after this and hopefully lose a few more pounds in the process (maybe!).
I am a person that likes to have the scale and the numbers on it as an integral part of my weightloss program. If I was to explain it in one word I'd say "motivation". My scales are a motivational tool for me to use during my journey. I am also a fanatic on statistics so any tool that gives me stats to measure is good with me!
Yesterday on the GM diet it was 100% vegetables day and I cooked up the most deliciously tasting curry ever. On the GM program you are not supposed to eat anything except for vegetables on this day but on this occasion I did use a little shrimp paste - I was prepared to compromise in order to really enjoy the result! After all I didn't have butter on my potato that morning which I was entitled to also as a special treat! If this program interests you then just google the 'GM diet' or 'General Motors' diet to find out all about it. This is now the third time I have done this.
Here is my vegetable curry - I looked up numerous recipes on the internet and then created this one using themes within the online recipes and what I had in stock.
These are the ingredients, ready to cook:
After curry paste added:
Ready to eat with my green tea!
I'll definitely be making this again so this is a good record for me of the ingredients I used but next time I'll be adding large green prawns ! YUM !
This time on the GM diet I do have a little less energy than last time but I have had 2 late nights in a row so my sleep has been compromised. Yesterday I did get through all my housework that I wanted to do so very pleased that procrastination didn't interfere with that task.
And finally my scarecrow motion sensor sprinkler arrived and true to the review comments, it leaks! I will go to bunnings today and buy some new washers, teflon tape and hose fitting parts and so some handyman work on it because the concept is awesome! Despite the leaks I was able to set it up and test it yesterday using the little dog as a guinea pig and it worked a treat! Gave both dogs a hell of a fright and they took off from the veggie patch. Today's project is to have this thing up and running leak-free.
Have a great time everyone, and thanks for you lovely comments on my blogs and re-vamped sparkspage!
