Here are some pic's of things I am always talking about.

Monday, October 28, 2013

Yes these are my legs and my feet in my brand new survival boots that my wonderful DH got for me just because I needed them.

Not only do they lace up the front but they zip up the side.

Got them all saddle soaped and water proofed and they are ready to hike.

Now here is something you might not have known about me but I am learning to play the dulcimer. My DH got this for me for my 45th birthday and hey I am still learning.

This dulcimer is made out of redwood out of California and it was the only one of it's kind in the whole store.

This picture shows you the pattern of hummingbirds and ivy on it a bit better.

Now this is something else for our survival bags. My BFF -SEVEN- turned me onto a site called iherbs for something else and I found this (just ordered 10 more of them today). It is dehydrated peanut butter, it contains roasted peanuts that have been pressed down until all the oil and water are gone from them. It has 85% less fat, it hardly weighs a thing and all you do is all 1 TBSP of water to 2 TBSP of PB2 and there you have it, wal laa Peanut butter, it contains roasted peanuts, sugar, and salt, And that is it.

So here are just a few of the things you might find in the Nimsy house when you come to visit.

Love the boots! And the dulcimer -- that's a gorgeous one, & it's too cool that you're learning to play it! I'll send you the web site of the dulcimer player who's one of my merchandise vendors -- he's really good & I think he has lessons on his site.

Gosh darn, never hear of dried peanut butter - what WILL they think of next! It's always fun to get new shoes, even if they're not goin'-out fancy - I guess they're the 'healthy' goin'-out fancy! Sweet!

I love those boots! So practical, and I love the look of them.

I just recently heard of iHerb, and am considering ordering some things from them. I love the thought of living a healthier lifestyle, without spending major dough.

    You have cute legs!

I love IHerb.com. I order teas and vegetarian bouillon (chicken flavor, but vegan) from them. They are way cheaper than the store and I usually spend enough fro free shipping. Great site! I will have to look into that PB!
