A new year, but not a New Year...

Monday, October 28, 2013

Ok, how's this for a new year resolution, that's NOT on New Years? Once more, the resolve is to train for and finish a marathon next year. Why? Because I want to. And even if I don't (but I will!) I will at least have a plan to keep moving for a year.

I know I've been here before, but I also know from my meditation training that it's ok to keep starting over. As long as you keep trying and don't give up just because things don't work out the way you think they should. Adapt and move forward. And since I am starting a new job in 3 weeks, I figured it was a good time to make a plan for the next year to lead me to that finish line on Canadian Thanksgiving 2014! So, here I go again. Starting when? Today!

You start over every day! (That's my huge revelation from last year.) Good luck - sounds like you have a great plan for the upcoming year.

In my experience, every new start over brings new energy, motivation, and strength so it's actually a good thing. Good for you!
