Life Changes...

Monday, October 28, 2013

My life is changing in some good and not so good ways....

One way that I see as both good/not-so-good...As of last Friday, I'm looking for another job. I kept my attitude up for a long time, but it got the best of me in the end. On the plus side, it shouldn't be too hard for me to find something that offers more pay and hours than I was getting, but finding that particular job might be a bit tough! I've got several leads already so hopefully I won't be unemployed for too long. And a better atmosphere will be a huge plus, too! I think it was a major contributor to my attitude.

Another plus...I did make it over to workout this morning. 30 minutes on the treadmill. Will do an exercise DVD later this afternoon as well.

Trying to determine where I'm going to focus my search. I have 2 good leads here in my hometown, but I'd also like to see what Wichita has to offer. My Sweet Adelines chorus is there, so I have quite a few friends who are more than happy to help me out. My boyfriend is nearby as well, so I can crash on his sofa if I need to until I can afford to get my own place.

In the meantime, I'm really working on watching what I eat, how much I sleep (8 hours last night!), and my exercise frequency.

Have a Marvelous Monday, all!

Sometimes a bad work environment can affect other parts of our lives in ways we don't realize until we are no longer in that environment. Good for you for looking at the situation as a positive rather than a negative.
