We recently spent a day at Manor Farm country park.
The day did not start well with a thunderstorm before we went, so the photos may be a bit dull as it was very cloudy.
The farm has a theme of a world war 2 farm.
Motorbike and machinery
Closeup of the stove
Young farmyard ducks
Sheep in the pens.
Pig and piglets
This is Violet the pig with her piglets which were born as we arrived at the farm
This is Sue with her piglets, no its not my daughter who is known as Sue
She even has her name on the gate and our Sue did get ribbed about it.
There was a turkey wandering around
This chicken is called a Silkie
A farmyard rooster
The farmyard with daughter Sue in the foreground
Farmyard ducks and machinery
The rooster blends in with the floor tiles
Cows waiting to be milked
The milkmaids yoke
The rain stayed away until lunchtime as we were sitting in the cafe, then the heavens opened and we were glad to take some shelter.
I will do another blog tomorrow with the pictures of the farmhouse where older sparkies may recognize some of the kitchen and washroom items.
I took a lot of photos.
