Guide to Trading Candy

Monday, October 28, 2013

My one and only Halloween story:
I was in the fabric store yesterday to buy more fabric for my quilt (in this case measure twice, cut once really did apply--oops) and the lady in front of me had two big bolts of tulle. For those not in the know, tulle is a sort of gauzy fabric. She asked the woman behind the counter for 50 yards of it! Hm, that's a lot of dresses, thought I. Then she explained she was going as a loofa or bath sponge for a Halloween party. I couldn't help it, laughed right out loud. I kind of wanted to know what she was going to use as the tie thingy on top, but didn't figure it was any of my business.

Here's a funny Guide to Trading Candy--

Exercise today:
Dam Trail walk: 5.18 miles
Time: 104 minutes
Weather: 34 degrees and clear

Funny video! I actually like apples and's the people who hand out dental floss who aren't much fun. ;) 50 yards of tulle to dress as a loofa- that's going to be a LOT of gathering for that costume. Cute, creative idea though! emoticon

50 yards! That is a lot of tulle. And my whole family laughed at the guide to training candy! So true!

Oh I would have asked her how to do the tie thing! Although a pony tail with died hair would work :). That is a unique costume and I bet it is easy to do :).
Great Trading Candy video!
