AACHOO! SNIFFLE! The sounds of winter!

Monday, October 28, 2013

My 4 year old grandson was admitted to the hospital on Sat with asthma. He has a cold which often puts kids and adults who are compromised in the hospital. He is doing better today and my be able to come home today But the other 2 kids are getting sick today too. I really hate that kids just pass the colds around in the winter. I hope everyone stays safe and warm if your in the path of the winter storms coming this week.
UPDATE Andy is back on oxygen and is running a fever again. He has had an irregular heart beat all night. I guess hes not coming home today. My daughter says he will have a cardiologist look at him today.

Sorry to hear that one of the grand children are having troubles with breathing. I too suffer with Asthma and find it challenging at times.

Winter colds, wow they travel fast around here. I usually end up with a bad bronchitis during the winter at least 2-3 times. Then I am forced to relax against my will. Breathing can be tough, especially for those little ones who do not understand why.
You being a Nurse I am sure is most helpful for them. It is wonderful and positive re assurance that Grama makes them safe.

Keep up the awesome work you are doing and have an even Greater Week.

    Cheers and Blessings
