and back to work. Not sure if I want to go - i'm tired today

Yesterday I decided to have a rest day - my thighs were very painful after the exercise from last week.

We went to my parents to watch a football match and then stayed till 8ish. We had roast dinner and I ate loads of veggies but too much meat and had half a serving of pudding (well compared to everyone else!)

Mum's been seeing a nutritionist from the doctors and was disappointed she hadn't lost any weight last week. She showed me her food tracking sheets and said she keeps winding the nutritionist up by calling it a diet. I asked if the nutritionist talks about a lifestyle change and she said she did. Not sure why mum is so insistent on winding up the nutritionist but ho hum.

It's dark and wet and stormy out as the UK is braced for a major storm. I got up early to do some exercise and haven't done it yet. I've been procrastinating and my shoulder hurts today. Think i'll do a 10 minute video today and try for a long one tomorrow.

Not sure what to do about lunch. We have plenty of meals in but not things I could take for lunch. I was supposed to bring some leek and potato soup home from mum's. It's on the side in her kitchen ready to go but I forgot it!

Think i'll have to have a major cooking spree tonight to make up lunches for the week because we're a little bit skint this week.

Anyways -was going to do a 10 minute video but have procrastinated too much and need to get ready for work. I'll see if I can walk to the supermarket at lunch time if the weather isn't too bad!

    Don't know if you have them over there, but what has been saving me on lunches lately is that "boil in bag". Success Rice makes it in a brown rice, so I have that and some of those frozen veggies you can steam in the package in the microwave. I've been doing whole wheat elbow macaroni pasta and those veggies. They're quick to do up the night before, and then just reheat the next day for lunch.

Hope you guys are doing ok with the storm. From seeing what my Brit friends are posting over on Facebook, it sounds like a rough one.

    Procrastination is my middle name. I spend more energy not doing stuff, and then worry about not having done it. I also make excuses about why I can't do something then and there. I like your Mum, she's my kind of girl. Actually we are probably about the same age. Have a good week. One day at a time and it will soon be the weekend. It's a real positive that you're making your own lunches this week emoticon
