Different food

Sunday, October 27, 2013

I made myself some hash browns this morning. I just grated some potato, added some sea salt, pepper and onion powder and fried it in red palm oil. It was good. :)
I found a recipe for mayonnaise that doesn't have eggs (allergies) and that I will probably do well with for the nickel allergy. Have yet to make and use it though. It was just nice to find one.
I used my oven to cook some meat and some root veggies today. It is nice to have that ready ahead of time for upcoming meals.
It's been nice to get these things done. I've felt kind of bored and feeling like there isn't much I can have other than a few basic things, but this is the start of figuring out and adding on to what I can have.
It is good.

The potatoes sound yummy! I find cooking my meals really makes me aware of what's in them, and they are so much more rewarding!

Glad you are finding some new recipes and ideas to use for your foods. I get bored with my food too, but don't have as many limits as you.
Your hash browns sound very yummy too.
Hope you have a great week. emoticon
