My most recent effort has been to drink three quarts of water every day. It's been interesting to me that I notice thirst more than I did before. And water tastes good. I'm trying to kick my diet pop habit. I've tried before and gone back to it. This time I've decided that diet pop is ok in limited amounts provided that I drink enough water. It's going well.
My other goal has been to go for a walk every day. I've gone most days. Certainly more that I would have without the goal.
This week, my goal is to continue with the water and walking and add more fruit and vegetables. That's hard for me. They aren't something that I look forward to. I like fruit and vegetables well enough when I eat them, but it takes real effort on my part to include them as a regular part of my diet. I'm more of a grain person. So, wish me luck. I'm going to need it.
