Rough Couple of Days...

Well it started Thursday night (my husband and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary). We went out to a steak house and had steak, baked potato with everything and veggies, oh and started with an appetizer. It was supposed to end there! Well Friday my son and I spent the day with my mom and Hunters cousins and had Mexican food for lunch (my meal came with two tacos, beans, rice and salad) I had one taco and the salad and boxed the rest up for my husband.... But I gave in to the chips and salsa!! Then for dinner my husband brought home Chinese food! It's been one thing after another so naturally I've gained some! I have noticed that when I make poor choices I don't log into Sparkpeople.... So this morning I put my foot down, made my egg and toast for breakfast and gave myself the pep talk I needed! Going shopping for veggies to make a big pot of weight watcher soup!

Here's to jumping back on the wagon after a rough couple days... Glad I just didn't throw in the towel!

    Drink a ton of water. that is a lot of salty food so it will make you retain water.

    you almost mirrored my week emoticon my hubby and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary and then had mexican food another day and McDonalds another day etc. But these weeks aren't every week we CAN recover nicely emoticon emoticon

    FORGIVE YOURSELF and keep going forward. You know the choices could've been better, but don't throw in the towel because of it. The key is to not beat yourself up over it, instead accept it...and don't let it define your next choice.
You never fell off the wagon, accept that you're always on it...some days you'll just make better choices than others. When you make lots of positive, healthy choices in a row, you'll see the results youre looking for! :o) And those not so healthy ones...hey, it's life! Why can't we indulge once in a while! (Just try to start indulging less often! :o) ) You can do it!

    Anniversaries are only once a year.. It is those ones in-between that are sneaky...
