Back to Basics

Going back to basics seems to have been a good move for me...
it's only been 2 days but I am feeling better and this seems normal to me....

I am back to eating my 6-7 mini meals a day and weighing and measuring my food...

also I did some big batch cooking so I can have thing ready and at hand....I will shop tomorrow to get the things I used in the beginning...

I have once again did a lot of soul searching and reading and seeking answers to food questions.....
but it turns out for me....that a simple plan, planning my meals, eating what I like in moderation, weighing my food and watching portions....eating foods that I find satisfing is what is best for me.....

I think I had to figure this out for myself.....and today I am feeling much better with my old program that must be good....it helped me lose 210 pounds....funny the answer was here all the time.....

Thanks to all of you who responded to my STRUGGLES blog...I do appreciate all the support and kind words....once again spark people ...people are the BEST....

    Thank you for always motivating and inspiring me. I realized reading your blog that I need to plan, measure, make meal plans and eat with moderation in mind. Sometimes it is the simplest things that we forget. We can do it. I also realize that Spark friends always help motivate me, never put me down when I start over again and are always there to encourage. emoticon

    Your blog has given me new hope. I think that is just what I have to do, too, go back to what worked for me in the first place. I have not been happy with my eight lately.

    Stepping back and re-evaluating our programs always works out for the best. Going back to basics is what I have done a few times....and yes it works even in just a couple of days. I always felt empowered with my decision and it sounds like you do to. Great job. emoticon
