My husband and I went out on a day hike in the woods and it was a rainy but nice Fall day. We did a 9km brisk walk there and back with stops to sight see. We saw two beautiful snowy white swans on one of the lakes we walked past. Too bad I didn't bring my camera... it would of been a nice picture! We saw a lot of moose tracks, deer tracks, black bear poop so we were on the look out for any of these wild animals lurking nearby. Our dog sure was enjoying himself chasing around grouse and squirrels. We came across this old Trapper's Cabin built back in the mid 1940's. There was a sign telling about it and who built it back then. We took a peek inside. It was small but not in too bad of shape. There was an outhouse built onto it. It was pretty neat to see. And right beside the old Trapper's Cabin was this natural springs that was clear and full of vegetation. It was pretty nice to see that too! We explored around the whole area and sure enjoyed the sights. Still wishing I brought my camera! It definitely was a nice day out eventhough it was cloudy and raining down on us. It was our first time in this area and we will be back with friends next time.
