Paleo Diet

It was recommended that I try the Paleo diet. I'm giving it a shot as best as I can.

    There's a lot going for it...essentially a "real foods" kind of approach with a low-to-no processed carbs.

    I tried the Paleo Diet for a while. I believe in the concept behind it. That there are many foods we eat today that our bodies were actually not designed to eat. Understanding and believing the principles behind it and actually following it are two different things though. I really found myself craving bread like mad, I tried to ask for no bread any time I ate out, but sometimes I would forget to ask and suddenly a bread basket would appear, and I would have two rolls eaten before my brain even registered the basket was there. I am now just limiting my Wheat product consumption, I don't buy loaves of bread at all, but I sometimes eat subs or sandwiches when i'm out. I don't know if they are actually better or not, but I now prefer wraps to sandwich bread.
