Day 6: Protect Your Program

Linda Spangle says that no one will ever care as much about your diet plan as you. I agree! If this is not true, maybe you are not ready to begin! I find that baby steps are the best. I have not made any big, big changes this time around. I am trying to improve one area of my life at a time. Today I felt like I had a small success, when I decided to drink a bottle of water instead of having a beer. I don't even like the taste of beer that much, so why did I even want one. I wrote it in my magic notebook, and by the time I would have allowed it, I didn't even want it.
This week I will work on the phrase, "not just yet..." I will say this when offered a snack or more dessert, or anything that could sabotage my efforts. I will not talk about my diet plan to others either. And, I will read a good book, or do some Spark activities in the evenings instead of eating. I will also continue to carry my magic notebook with me.
I WILL NOT BE AN OBSTICLE IN THE WAY OF MY SUCCESS!
