Yesterday in Fall 5% Challenge Shooting Stars Team, I was the "Bright Star of the Day." Thank you to my teammates for all of your support and encouragement through Goodies and comments. Ironically enough, I felt like a very DIM Star yesterday!
The last week was very stressful on the work-front... lots of meetings with heated discussions that just kept going outside of the meetings. I am a stress eater, and it has been harder than usual (which is hard enough) for me to keep from reaching into the candy dishes that are scattered throughout the office. One morning I resisted the donut at the staff meeting only to eat a full bowl of pretzel M&M's later (but I tracked it!)... yesterday I didn't even count how many times I went into the candy corn jar... not good!! Yesterday I was out running errands at lunch time and skipped eating... then we had an evening planning meeting for a retreat and I ate an entire portion of Long John Silver's popcorn shrimp meal. I rarely eat fried food, particularly in that quantity, so my stomach rebelled and ached all night - it still doesn't feel quite up to its normal self today.
When I weighed-in this morning, I was up 3 pounds from last week!
Looking on the BRIGHT side, I am back on track today and I plan to stay there!
Even though I have not been resisting the candy dish ,my meals (except yesterday) have been good and I have been faithful to exercise.
