Wk 133 Weigh In

Saturday, October 26, 2013

Finally I get to post a loss this week! Makes me almost as happy as I would be if I had gotten to survive some sort of apocalyptic circumstance this week. I know, I know, I mentioned a zombie apocalypse in last weeks blog and I don't usually run back to back with any sort of "theme" or idea. But as bad as it might sound, I would welcome waking up one morning to most of the population being deceased from some super flu or zombies shambling about. For me it's all about economics; you really can't do hardly anything without money, and as an unemployed guy in a very down economy, I have no money. But if there were some sort of apocalypse, I could do whatever I wanted without having tons of money! I could live wherever I wanted, drive whatever I wanted, do whatever I wanted. Life would be good :)

Anyway, so I was a good boy this week (relatively speaking) and did the things necessary to post a loss. Ate decently and made it to the gym 5 times! So now I know that I can still do this, hopefully for a while at least!

On to the numbers:

Weight : 213.4
Lost : 2.0
Total : 106.6

Yes, a 2.0 lb loss for the week! Finally something worth reporting, I was getting tired of losing a few tenths than gaining a pound, then losing a few more tenths. I like the substantial losses a lot more than the really small ones :)

That's all I will write for now. After all you just read a whole paragraph on why I would like an apocalypse to happen soon, that's punishment enough. Some people don't think I'm right in the head but we'll see who's not right in the head once the zombies are eating people!

Congratulations on the loss and the gym! Way to go :)

As for being broke with no job, I have been there more than once. It has made me appreciate the better times and given me confidence that if things fall through I will survive. I hope things turn around for you soon.

I'm sure it is harder being off work (at least it is harder for me in the summer) to keep weight off. I'm not sure what it is, but I am more motivated when i am busy... but that's just me.

CONGRATS on the 2lbs!!!! AND making it to the gym 5 times this week!!! :)

    SWEET! Nice loss!

Zombies...saw a funny tshirt that I put on my Christmas list. "I don't have to run faster than the zombies. I just have to run faster than you."

    Keep behaving yourself!

Hey Omega Man ( I think we discussed this before) the car you would be driving would soon run out of gas so life would not be that good and who is going to fly the plane to Hawaii? Good job on the loss! emoticon
