Saturday - 5% challenge - weigh in!

Hello end of week 2 of the 5% challenge!

I had a pretty good week, mostly moving in the downward direction and ending the week on a high note! Woot!

Weigh in was great but i have a challenging week ahead! I'm on site in michigan at a hotel with crappy gym, no extra hike or kickboxing will be on the agenda, it's sadly typical middle America, where everyone eat and watches tv... I'm hoping to get out and get in a walk or a hike at some park tomorrow!

I do have some reflections of the week. I have ramped up the exercise, some days 2 full workouts a day - my regular one and then kickboxing, which i've decided to add back into my repitiour... I did manage to hit my goal weight a few years ago but that was also as a result of 2 workouts a couple times a week. I know i want to ramp up my heart rate and enjoy some of the classes i have been missing but i also know it isn't sustainable... so i need to keep ramping up the heart rate on just my one workout a week, have just 1 extra workout to get in my kickboxing fix, and keep working on the food intake. I have over the last 6 months made a concerted effort to find some differences that have worked for me mainly - Naked green machine for breakfast, a full 30 ounces of water between my first and second cup of coffee of the day, a full 90 ounces during the day, and listening to if i'm really hungry come dinner time.

Water: cranking in! Had to break the rules on the plane today, if i didn't pee, it would have been ungly!

Tracking food: got it going on! Let's keep that up!

Staying in calorie range: going well! Fingers crossed for this week.

Ramping up the heart rate: worked on it this morning a bit too. gotta keep it up for the week

Me time: it's me and my hotel room - should get lots! Read a good 1.5 hours on the flight and got in a nap!

Extra exercise: today, not gonna happen, but tomorrow, here i come!

Goals for the weekend:
Stay in control at the party! I do love me party food!
Get in a good workout and hopefully either a meander downtown or a jaunt in a park
Get some naked juice to keep on track tomorrow! and for the week!
Get some me time, i brought some "research books" for camping next summer and Amsterdam (i know, go figure) in December!

Yeah for a successful weigh in, success begets success!
