Non scale victories--loving the latest one :)

I do have to say that my quest to gain muscle is going well--of course my lower half is still my (not!)favorite part but I have been faithfully doing my squats and sprints. (And sideways treadmill which is still fun!!!!) But a longtime friend and coworker who came back to work with us this week gave me the happiest compliment (after saying how good my chili smelled and begged for the recipe) when I was standing at our desk: "Look at those leg muscles! You are doing great!" I was wearing my jeans and could not stop smiling after--I was the woman who was very very unhealthy when I had last seen her (five years ago, way too long)and to get such support meant the world to me!
So all of the weighted squats...sideways treadmill..sprints...and vegan diet is still doing this almost 44 year old good! Life is beautiful!!
