So today is the day we weigh in for the 5% challenge and I wasn't sure how the weigh in was going to go because the only day I went to the fitness center was on Monday. Wednesday and Thursday I had fever and was besties with the couch and I didn't get much exercise in this week and I wasn't eating that much this week either. I got up at 5:30 and crawled out of bed 10 minutes later and started my coffee and went to the bathroom and got on the scale. It said 218! I had to get on a couple of times before I could believe it. I had a bunch of applesauce this week to take my antibiotics. I got ready to go to the fitness center and was out the door by 6. A few minutes later I was sitting on the bench because it wasn't open. So I got on corporate's website and emailed them. I told them that the fitness center is supposed to be open from 6am to 11pm and told them it was after 6am and that it wasn't open and that I was there on another day at 6:30 and waited for 15 minutes and nobody came to open it. I was like either change the hours or give somebody else the key who is going to open the fitness center on time or close it all together and use the building for something else. Knowing from experience that if any place is open at 6am then there is going to be at least one person to show up that early. Like 5 minutes after I sent the email somebody came and opened up the fitness center. It is hard for a lot of people to get up at that time myself included but on the weekends it's easier for me to get up that early because it's something I want to do rather than something I have to do as is the case during the week. I did 20 minutes on the bike and came home and went to the bathroom because there wasn't any toilet paper in the bathrooms at the fitness center and I made some kool-aid and went back and did some weight lifting and then 30 minutes on the treadmill and then some more weight lifting. I had heartburn the last 15-20 minutes on the treadmill and I have dry mouth. As of today I have lost a total of 14 pounds since trying to lose weight. So glad to still be under 220. I think tomorrow I am going to go to the fitness center early in the morning. It was a bit of a chilly wait. It was only 42 at 6am.
