Pharmacy News

Friday, October 25, 2013

Yes, the interview was for a job with the Provincial Govt.... Big Brother all right....

Couldn't sleep last nite, so didn't actually get up till noon, quick breakfast and then bubble bath and off to pick up MIL and we went to the Senior Cafe by the Pharmacy today... not actual presentation, just basically he threw it out as a Q&A Session, so lots of info and opinions.... He did tell me that eye pressure (as in glaucoma) is like blood pressure and can go down with weight loss and diet and exercise etc... I asked out of curiosity if the Pharmacy Delivery Vans that deliver prescriptions are targeted for drugs or if they have safes in the vans etc, and he said their particular pharmacy doesn't advertise on their delivery vans, but really, that would be like advertising they are a traveling drug delivery service and invite trouble. I also learned that there are some drug addict types that actually read the obits in the paper and then break into houses when the funerals are on...... how despicable! I can't even imagine what a widow whose just buried her dh that was seriously ill and suffering and she comes home to have had a break-in.... what a violation, probably would never be able to live in her house again... also others told of people leaving pharmacies being robbed..... scarey!!

lazy day....

    Damn scary!

I for one am all for going back to the Judge Roy Bean days ... Hang em'!

In fact, hang em' on the court house square so all their 'buddies' can see the consequences of certain actions!

Down south, pharmacies were being broken into all the time. I'd think there'd be more up here in Detroit, but no. I'm glad you got the chance to learn a few things.

The things people do to get their "fix". Scary is right!

Ok,those were scary stories. One of my friends former tenants was working for a pharmacy and the van was unlabeled.

Sometimes a lazy day is good... emoticon
