My Jeans are Too Big - Woo Hoo!

Friday, October 25, 2013

On September 27 I blogged about finally fitting into a pair of jeans that I'd owned for many years. Well today they no longer fit. They are now TOO BIG. My DD actually begged me to go shopping for new ones because they are so baggy on me. Yes, I knew that but when I went shopping before I was stunned at the costs. So today I hit up a couple of resale shops. Tried on a few pairs and left empty handed. The are lots of resale shops in my town so I will hit up a couple more tomorrow and hopefully find something. This is a new thing for me and I'm very excited.

How wonderful!! There's nothing like owning a pair of baggy jeans that you used to couldn't get into - okay, not the nicest sentence in the world, but you understand! Wait till your necklines fall off your shoulders ...

You are doing great!

    Woohoo! Way to go!

Don't know if there's a Gabriel Brothers store in your area -- they sell name brand overstocks at amazingly low prices. That's where I've been restocking as my clothes outgrow me.

The most awesome feeling ever!! emoticon

Yes, the biggest problem about losing weight is affording the new clothes. A fun problem to have, but a problem nonetheless. I had some luck at re-sale shops, but to buy new pants I mostly just watched sales, got on email lists, used coupons, etc. to buy new stuff. My Sam's Club has great Eddie Bauer shirts that are very cheap, $7 for short-sleeved in spring/summer, and $10 for long-sleeved in fall/winter.

Happy Shopping!

That is so cool! Congratulations on loosing two sizes - one size lost to fit and another one now that they don't! Good luck on your quest for the next pair. emoticon
