Iím really not sure what to blog about, and am hoping something will pop in my head as I type.

Weekday mornings I drive Trout Lake on my way to work. This is the same lake I photographed often when I worked in town and walked by it every day. It looked so peaceful one morning this week so I stopped to take a couple pictures.

Life has been overall very good lately, and for that, I am extremely grateful. There continue to be bumps in the road, but I am learning how to get over them and continue moving forward. Finding someone to travel the road of life with has made the bumps much easier to deal with.

It has been darn cold the past two weeks. October started out unseasonably warm but has sure been making up for that! Every morning this week I had to scrape frost off my windshield, and snow has fallen (no accumulation yet though). Right now the sun is shining, itís 40 degrees outside and I am stuck indoors. It is a perfect afternoon for yard cleaning, moving summer tools to the back of the shed and winter tools to the front, or just taking a long walk. Predictions for tomorrow and Sunday are much cooler so I will be doing outdoor chores in a jacket and gloves. Hopefully the cold wonít deter my roofer from coming over and getting my new, metal roof on. My weekend exercise will be picking up roofing debris and throwing it in the trailer, some leaf raking and hopefully a nice, long walk with Mike and the dogs.

I would also like to finish the closet organization project I started last weekend Ė summer clothes to the back of the hall closet, mid-season clothes to the front and winter clothes in my bedroom closet (old house, small closets). I did get pretty far with the clothes but forgot about my shoes. It was pretty cold Monday morning when I got ready for work, and all I had out were sandals and walking shoes. I searched for a regular pair of shoes but gave up and wore black socks in a pair of black sandals Ė went better with my black dress pants rather than my white walking shoes. Mike and I have come a long way in unpacking his things but I have come to the conclusion that somehow my fall and winter footwear got buried in the shuffle. Hopefully they didnít end up in the ďrummage saleĒ area of the storage shed.

My weekend officially begins in five minutes! YIPPEE!!!

I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful pictures! Looks so pretty and peaceful.

I lived in an older house and remember all too well the the closest shortage. Did you find your winter footwear? That sounds like something I would do!,

So glad to hear all is going well and wish you a great week ahead

    Great Pictures GF

I really need to do the seasonal organization on my closet also.
I haven't dug out my winter coats yet. Been grabbing D.H. which makes
for a funny looking site I'm sure.
That and my mud boots.

Looking forward to lunch this week!

So happy things are going well for you Luanne. I am guessing the second dog is Mikes. Hope it isn't too chilly for doing outdoor things for you this weekend. Unfortunately, here it is very windy today--=so with the sun shining it really isn't very nice out. Lucky for me this morning I wore my hoodie under my fall jacket w\, and ended up pulling the hood up when at the farmers market ( last one for the season and walking with my friend).
I am fortunate that our closet is a walk-in here at our apartment, so have clothes set up according to seasons and won't need to move stuff around like I did at our home every year with small closets there.
Have a great weekend.

I need to get real and start tossing clothes into the donation bags. I have room in the closets, but what's the point of keeping stuff that you aren't going to wear? That someone else can use them is enough reason to MOVE THEM OUT!

Enjoy your weekend!!

that is great things are going so well for you!

That is great that it is getting colder, it kills all the bugs! Here in PA it doesn't get even below zero, and that is why there are so many allergy issues here. I wish it got really cold here, but it doesn't.
When I go to Minnesota again, I will appreciate the brutal cold in winter, at least it gets rid of all of the allergens!

Have a great weekend, Leanne!!
