Alright, so in exactly 3 weeks, it will be November 15, 2013.
And that just happens to be 1 year away from our wedding date! So I can think of no better gift to myself, then to finally hit that number 175, or 100 pounds down.
This morning I was 181. And I know I've talked about not worrying about the numbers and if I don't make it, it won't be the end of the world, but 100 pounds down has been something I've been wanting for close to a year now, and just never taken the time to dedicate myself to.
So that's the new goal.
To reach this goal, I'm going to continue drinking a ton of water. I have a 1L water bottle that I make sure to drink at least 2 of every day if not 3.
And in case you aren't friends with any Ohioans, we had our first lovely snowfall of the season yesterday. Nothing that stuck, but enough to make you shudder and cry for the sunny days of last week. So my running outdoors may take a hit, so I think I'm going to bite the bullet.
Here at my university, for faculty and staff, it is $120 a semester to use the Rec center. Since it's already halfway through the semester, I would get a prorated membership probably closer to $70-80. And it is $7 a visit if you don't have a membership. So my thinking is if I buy a membership, then I'll at least have to go 10-12 times to make back my money, and also, they have a great indoor track which I ran on a lot last year. Plus, JD gets in free there so we could work out together sometimes.
So yes. New goal to focus myself. 6 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm coming for you 175!
