Oy, it was a long day yesterday, full of busy busy and running around. I kept on top of the food logging though, or so I thought - only when I found the wrapper in my pocket this morning did I remember I'd grabbed a snack bag of nuts at a store checkout. My intentions were good, or so I recall - I needed something, preferably with some protein in it. They were the best option.
But forgetting to log them means that my "hey, even though it was crazy and I had cake I stayed within my eating goals!" day went to "uh-oh...better balance that today".
I'm so glad I'm staying disciplined with the food tracking. Next time I'm tempted to slack off, I'll remember this: I don't remember everything. I do need to write it down. Because when I don't, 300 kc here, 400 there turns into all of the weight I've already lost.
