My stomach totally is not in agreement with me. :S
In the past 2 days, I've come down pretty much 4lbs. I hope this is not going to be my version of weight loss while I wait for surgery!
My proteins are low-26 grams yesterday, my fat low-10 grams spread over the day ( and I don't dare go much higher than that) , carbs, thats the thing I can actually tolerate (which I have to force myself to eat because I'm not crazy about them!) was 175 grams so that was good. So I did get in 900 calories, which I think is good all considering.
Still I have next to no appeitie because my stomach feels outta wack, I feel quite nauseous...I'm a little worried that something may go wrong than just having gallstones--I guess I'm scared of having gallstone getting stuck as my pancreas area is sensitive/sore to touch. (My family doctor shouldn't have informed me that this could happened...I mean I'm glad he did, but it just makes me a bit worried!)
I still have back pain, and the under the rib discomfort digging feeling. But I did just have an attack Tuesday, so I'm still in recovery mode from that I guess. That is tolerable though. And not like I need a morphine shot or anything. (But I do have a very high tolerance like my mom. Trust me on that! I didn't go to get my apendics out till I finally was convinced the pain was severe enough. Even then I felt bad in case I was wrong....turns out they burst as they were removing it in surgery! I had complications because of that...but thankfully I went to emergency just in time!!!!)
Anyways, next time I have attack, I'll have the doctor give me a good check over though! My family doctor is putting me on stomach relaxants for a month though, that may help. I'm def picking them up today!!!
That said, I'm wondering what is a good food, that isn't "heavy"--doesn't make one feel full--because I don't have much appeitie...but has good nutrition, very low (next to no fat) but high in protein. I do have some Reliv Now that I can get some protein/ loads of vitamins in it, that I"m going to see if I can tolerate. It has 4 grams protein/serving (no fat) & its a 2x a day thing. So thats at least 8 grams of protein! :) Hopefully that will work.
I'm trying to keep the fluids (water/tea) throughout the day as I heard thats very helpful for gallbladder problems-drinking lots of water. But if you overeat, that can bring on an attack, so I wonder if that applys w/ water? I have no clue, but I really don't want to find out...so I'll just sip on it through out the day! Here's to drinking water!
Anyways, thats my predicament! On top of that I'm still fighting yesterdays migraine...its calmed some, so maybe this is just the aftermath. I hope. Whatever way, I"m SUPER thankful the weekend is here, so I can just crash. As my energy is going down the drain!
Ok, enough woes...lol, things will turn around eventually :)
