Spark Radio's segment this time was "The Fountain of Youth." To generate and have energy you need to get up off your duff and create it. So you need to exercise, do your hobbies, have interests etc...You just have to be an active type is what its about. So to reverse the aging process according to Dr. Dean Ornish eat a plant based diet, do yoga and meditate to reduce stress, walk daily. We need to have love and respect for our bodies and eating right, exercising, reducing stress and getting enough sleep is what we need to do to keep young as we get older.

Yesterday I did some Walking (45 minutes), Cardio videos from YouTube (30 minutes), Yoga (20 minutes) and Belly Dancing (30 minutes). It was non strength training day so I had some extra time to do some fun stuff. Strength Training is not what I consider fun but its coming along and I do it listening to good music so I stick with it. I had pizza, I'm going to rename Thursday, pizza Thursday because that seems to be the food for dinner since football season began. Tampa Bay needs to do something at 0-7, sucktacular. Good thing I mainly watched the baseball game instead. We're on the split heading back to St. Louis for Saturday's Game 3.

Its been in the 80's all week here and its given me the incentive to bust hump when it comes to exercise. It is odd seeing it get darker round 6-ish now but its the end of October pretty much so its to be expected. I like not dealing with rain so much either. In Seattle and Louisiana it rained much more than it does here and where I grew up in Southern California. Its to be expected its the desert. I liked New York but winters there are too much for me to handle in a reasonable manner. My bones don't like the cold so much. My body likes warm weather places year round just about.

Tonight The SO said on Saturday we are taking a hike, doing some shopping and having dinner out on The Strip somewhere. He said it was for showing off and I was thinking showing off what. Its what my expression was saying so he answered me. He said its for showing me off and how fabulously beautiful I am, lol. I can live with it I think even if I am pretty non attention seeking. He said with my sassy hair, green eyes, slim and trim body and pretty hands I should be seen. (The SO has a thing for my hands, its all I should say about that.) He said tomorrow night a few couples from his work are coming over for dinner and a getting to know you thing. Okay, the house is clean, I have food since its 3 other couples. He said its just a casual thing. Oh joy!

I'll do walking later, yoga and some cardio and that will be my exercise day!

Your SO sounds so lovely, what a beautiful thing to say to you, and thanks for sharing it. How wonderful to be shown off! Enjoy it, you certainly deserve it, because your fabulous figure has not come without plenty of effort.

I am needing to look at my diet, more closely next. I have been working on the yoga and meditation for stress reduction, but I do not have enough plant based meals, and I think that this is important too for good mental and physical well being.

Keep up the great work. emoticon
