my commute out of the fog in the morning and back...

Friday, October 25, 2013

here is a day of my commute. We have had fog banks hanging in for days now. We are experiencing an inversion so it is 10-15 degrees warmer in the mountains than at sea level.

this arc of fog has been amazing. It has been sitting here for 5 days now. It so hard to capture in pictures. when you drive into it the temperature is about 10 degrees cooler and is thick as soup.

this picture is looking back through the fog from where I had just come from.

Really nice pics! That fog can be so dangerous! Be careful! We are starting to get it really bad here too, since the temps are cooling down at night...when it is really the most dangerous! emoticon

Wow! 5 days. Sometimes we get a fog layer that is so thick that you can't see a thing, but it usually clears in a few hours. Great pictures.
Hope you are feeling better today. emoticon

We get fog here quite often. I hate when the visibility is down to zero. So creepy and precarious to drive.
